Each year, September is declared “National Preparedness Month” by the President. Accompanying the proclamation is a nation-wide campaign to educate the public about the steps they can take to be prepared and self-sufficient after any emergency or disaster. The three primary steps are: get an emergency kit, make a plan and be informed. |
